Default Will this fit in a GT3

I have been searching this topic for several days and based on some rather old posts (circa 2004) here is what I have found out so far:

the front trunk in the GT3 is the same size as a C4

the dimensions of the C4 trunk are:

Tall - 15 3/4" at rear 9 3/4" at front
Wide - 26 1/2"
Deep - 16 3/4"

Is this information still accurate? I believe my 06 C2 would hold a 27" upright bag. So it would appear the GT3 trunk is significantly smaller, and may have a different shape to it.

I am trying to figure out if either of these bags will fit in the GT3 trunk:

or

Also are there any tie downs in the rear shelves in the GT3?

Thanks.

In my experience it also depends also on whether you have NAV - on my 2007 it cut into the trunk space a lot and my front trunk mat, custom ordered to fit a C4, wouldn't fit!

I think they'll fit.
When I brought my 2008 RS (with NAV) back from Texas, I had this TUMI in expanded mode in the front.

It fit perfectly flat.. though it was actually a little tough to get out after several hundred miles of driving each day.

It even left some above it for jackets and miscellaneous.

^ So the dimensions that I quoted above may not be accurate for the GT3, at least as to height. The Tumi is a 22" upright. If you had to guess, how much room was left at the top, another 6-8"?

Hi Rocci,
I just measured the trunk (inches).
Tall - 15 at front, 20 at rear
Wide - 22 at front, 27 at rear
Depth - 13 from front to the NAV DVD box
These measurements are minimums. There are bits of space beside the NAV DVD box and all around the trunk area.

With the expanded TUMI in it (handle up), there is 1 inch above at the front, 7 above at the rear (and about 2-3 inches side-to-side).

No problem, Rocci. I completely understand the importance of having 'enough' trunk space if you are using the car on the road.
