Default Where do you go for ALMS fix?

Hey guys just wondering if you could recommend a few sites to catch up on and discuss Lemans series racing, US or Euro. Interested in GT2/GT3 class 911s.

I did a search on this forum and surprisingly came up with no relevant threads??

Thanks.

Nizer, thanks. I had seen that earlier today searching for ALMS stuff. JUST AWESOME!! Did Burgmister get to keep the first place finish??? I was pretty pissed off when Ferrari did that to Berg about 2 years ago. Good to see he learned something.

interesting you were upset about Sebring 2 years ago it was one of the best finishes in history of gt2's and Flying Lizard had the wrong line into 17 that night

Corvette at Laguna didn't get EVERYTHING he deserved imho

Sebring starts the ALMS in March and you can follow it a number of places
Here's the site I used to follow my points and schedules on

h2O, I was upset because Porsche didn't win. I don't know what the correct line should have been going into turn 17. I guess you're saying that had Berg taken the right line he wouldn't have been in that predicament. But Melo's line was clearly "dirty" and took it only to gain advantage. I guess the desire to win makes people do desperate things, but I like it when folks keep it clean...especially when it's on the line.

And I know, Bergmeister did the same to the Corvette as was done to him 2 years earlier, but the corvette initiated the contact.

I am not sure what you mean about the Corvette not getting what it deserved since I did not watch the whole race. Or, are you saying Corvette should have won?

Thanks for the link.

sorry I meant the Corvette guys are dirty and have been for a long time. They don't like Little baby engines beating them I'd guess. He should have lost points for the weekend with a possible suspension of Sebring the following year.

At Sebring Flying Lizard took a tight line to overtake but in the end cost him a few tenths. Although there was contact it was truly an amazing finish and neither teams had anything to complain about. The Porsche early apexed and had to correct throwing them farther to the wall if I remember correctly it's been a while so I can't remember......Beautiful finish to 12 hours imho and I raced Porsches

and I was lucky enough to play there a few times altough Berg and Long make it look a lot easier
