Default US RS have plates for cage or not?

Based on my dealer's conversation with the factory, it appears the US spec RS again will not have the base plates required to bolt in the cage. This sucks. Hope its not true. I understand not having the cage installed for DOT regulations but it should at least be prepped to have the oem piece fitted. Do any US 2010 GT3's have the base plates in them?

I believe that is correct. I actually requested the plates at the time of ordering and I was told they would not do it. I believe it has something to do with the liability associated with roll bar faliure.

I guess only if they accidentally ship one to the US that started as a Euro car, like with the MKI. Some had them.

We will find out when the car arrives.

I hope you are right. I have one of the first allocations which would fall into that category. Do you know how to check for it? If so I will check when my car arrives. It is currently on a vessel.
