Default Seat Reupholstery & Leather Console

I had the occasion to reupholster a set of seats and add leather to the center console for a 997.
Its done in Porsche Cocoa leather which is sort of a mottled brown color.
The French seams on the console are the same pattern as found on the factory piece.
While I now have the pattern for this style seat, I had to use the binding strips from the old set to complete the new ones. Since I can't find the correct size bindings at any of my suppliers I will need the old covers in order to make the kit for these seats.

The kit would run $1700 for the front, $900 for the rear. Installation is $300 for the front and $200 for the rear.
To add leather to the console, $600

I have a question,...

There are some Leather/Alcantara parts of the GT3 and GT3 RS,
that simply can NOT be ordered with Deviated Stitching.
part like the handbrake and the gear lever,
and some other parts too.

My question is,
can a customer sent his leather/alcantara parts that do NOT have Deviated Stitching to you,
and you change the Stitching into the desired color that match
the other Stitching color from the factory ?

and when you do that, can we still REUSE the original Factory Leather/Alcantara,
so again the thing that changed is just the Stitching only,
probably by taking out the original stitching
and stitch back the desired stitching color one by one by hand ?

and if we do this,
can we expect the leather/alcantara to stretch back like factory original condition,
or do we expect some wrinkles because of this ?

Thanks

No. I would not consider attempting a project like that.

Do you know if Exclusive Auto Interiors removed the old stitching and restitched the shift boot in yellow or did he use all new Alcantara? Does he do seats as well?

This was someone else's car that I saw there a couple of years ago... I believe Johnny said he just replaced the stitching but give him a call.

Here is a steering wheel that he did... the stitching is not to my taste but you can't fault the workmanship. Note the horn impression on the shaved leather covering. Very cool!
