thanks for the replies!
i'm happy how meteor came out, especially with the yellow pccb's.
my pcars have been all black before. even the wife approved of the color-- she says it makes the wing a bit less pronounced (she prefers subtle....).

and thanks for the support for driving this in the winter. with past cars, i would just drive on the PS2s or PZeros and generally wouldn't have any issues even in the teens, but given the brand-new r-compounds here, didn't want to risk it. but, i must say, it's pretty liberating driving this car in such cold temps and feeling fairly comfortable with tire grip. that being said, i can't wait to get some real tires back on there.

TRAKCAR, i'll check the sliders but won't be able to for a couple days, but don't think i'd even know if i saw how. to be perfectly honest but the fact that there was such a height difference b/w that euro car and mine, i'd be surprised if there wasn't some fix or perhaps different parts down there? in any case, i'm not tall and with a helmet, i'd say there'd be very little space left up there.

Nine9Sixer - you have a beautiful car!
My black GT3 is supposed to arrive in about four weeks, and I cannot wait!
I have also ordered a carbon console, and was wondering if you could perhaps post a pic of your interior where it would be visible.
Many thanks and congratulations!
Best,
wurlie

Beautiful car. Congratulations. I have always been partial to the grays. Would like to see more of the interior. Thanks.

Hey Gene, just found this post. Looks fantastic and I can't wait to compare notes this coming season. With Dan putting in the bar and 6-points, it will be easy to get the "feel" for 997.2 GT3 and 997.2 C2S Modified. I'm so glad you posted those winter photos - it's a car and you drive it! Let me know if there's anything you need...

WOW, now that's nice!

Who at Danbury sold you this monster? Nice spec and color!

I see they moved the red GT3 to the showroom now.

Glad you had a chance to take it out even in this weather. Kind of why when I had my car ordered it was delivered in April.

Hope you get lots of track time!!!

Regards,
Deanski

i've finally found some time to reply and post pics.
haven't driven as much as i've wanted, but i do have 1000 miles so far.
in short, this car is quite awesome-- just painful keeping it under 4.2K rpm.
i took a 500 mile roadtrip last weekend, most of it highway and i had it in Sport PASM most of the time. i did not find it too harsh at all, but the ride is indeed stiff-- noticeably stiffer than my 997.1 C2S. some random, antecdotal DD musings: the vibration from the stiff ride, etc is perceptible enough where it makes faraway cars a bit fuzzy in the rearview mirror, and, on several occasions, i was surprised to discover that i had certain body mass i didn't know i had-- revealed by some serious discernible jiggle! (and i'm kinda thin) but the utter responsiveness that permeates throughout this entire car is really impressive-- enough to make me forget the "trivial" fact that the suspension, etc can be a bit harsh. that being said, I would not hestiate driving this car from east to west coast and back.

As for nyc driving, the car's been relegated to its bucolic CT lifestyle so far, so i don't have any impressions yet in the city (had to do some recon at my garage to confirm no issues with the front lip-- phew, all ok).

as requested, here's some pics of the interior with the carbon fiber rear center console. i think they look great with the sport buckets. i normally wouldn't go for such a bling, nonfunctional, cosmetic piece, but i think it really makes the car feel more special inside. (for what it's worth, i had the CC installed by the dealer prior to delivery-- lesson learned: need to order without regrets).

TRAKCAR, i'm not sure there's anyway to adjust height on these seats. doesn't look like it (caveat: i'm no engineer.....)

RonCT, really looking forward to compare notes this year!
