That is the funniest thing I've read in a while.

Mooty your wife and mine are complete opposites- if I send her out to get something it's 2 to 1 in her favor : )- god forbid I ask her to buy me a wallet ie Louis Vuitton times 2+ for her and ****ty Porsche Design wallet for me(actually Porsche design wallets has held up the longest of all my wallets- love them). But at least she knows exactly what to get for me : ). Mike

Nothing surprising in the GT3 comparo. There are at least comparitive lap times around Hockenheim, with all three cars on MPSCs. Kind of wished they had included the 996 GT3 MkII as well however.
Seperate 997.2GT3 "test" of a white, RHD Clubsport with acceleration #s as well.

Yes, it is autobild, I just bought the localized version of it here yesterday. Basically they say that with each evolution, the lap time on the course of 2200 m (short Hockenheim) is 2 seconds shorter with each newer generation. True in-gear acceleration figures, etc. A good comparison in numbers and lap times, sector times. Fairly predictable result, nothing surprising. The new cars had PCCB, I am not sure if the 996 had MPSC.
