That's the best Grey/Black rendering I've seen so far. Very stealth.

My worry is that it ends up looking too somber. Plus it's eerily similar to the Taupe Grey on Chevy Malibus and Magnetic Grey on Toyota Camrys that I seem to see everywhere these days.

Porsche and White just seems right.

Nizer, that looks no good to me. Too busy, and it confirm that I really do not like gold.

The hood and roof stripe would be more like this, only red on white, coming out of the hood vent and going into the rear air intake, nothing on the bumpers except the side 996 and 997MKIRS like stripe.

That does not mean I made up my mind yet.. Maybe less is more.

Yeah, understand color is a no-go. It was more about the stripe option.

I'm definitely White with Red and decal delete. I just need to decide on the wheels. Went back to local dealer that has White GT3 on floor. Plain white looks stunning. I like the idea of red wheels but they also have a ricer bent that makes me nervous. Would be nice to see these things in person. Oh well.

Still looking for PS help to drop the decals on these images....

^ drop all decals, keep all red trims (lip, mirror, wing tips)
put red wheels on it. that's what i want.

if you want another set of wheel, i plan to get BBS motorsport. then you can do whatever color you like on the aftermkt wheel. i like my in regular BBS silver.

Mooty, I'm with you 100%. My wheels are going back to red - a second set of wheels is almost a forgone conclusion so keeping the reds makes sense.

Same here, probably will buy silver color track CCW wheels.

The lip bothers me most. Mirrors and wingtips are easily made black also for the 996RS look.

FRIZ: perfect! Thanks.

I'm back to red wheels and currently sticking with decal delete. I'd keep the decals and remove myself if I knew this were easily and safely done but not willing to take that risk without more info.

Still think this is the best White/Red photo and would be interested to see it without decals if that's possible.

And yes, I know this is cracking everyone else up but bear in mind that I'm trying to keep the wife happy as well and she's been hugely supportive of me dropping $150k on a toy but she doesn't like the "loud" white/red combo.

Wait until she hears the exhaust....

White with Red, no decals. I think we are getting silent disapproval ;-)

I'm all over Riviera Blue but real-world photos of Gulf Blue that I've seen have left me lukewarm.

Friz,
Is this the hardest you've worked in a long time?

nizer, since you need to please wife,
get the car with decals
she likes it, great.
she doesn't, tell her you would do what she wants. get a hair blow dryer and heat up decal, peel them off. it may take you 4-6 hours. then wife would know you really VALUE her opinion, see win win....

if my wife would approve the purchase, i dont care what decal or paint the car comes ...i take pink with poop brown decal if i had to.... give me the car.
