Default 2010 GT3 vs GT3 RS production

I was over at my dealer and asked about how many GT3 RS allocations they got. They said they got 5, the same as the number of GT3 allocations they received. It looks like the volume of RS models have increased this go around while regular GT3s decreased. What do you think will happen with resale on the RS if they make as many or more RS models than regular GT3s?

Hmmm, anyone else heard of new RS allocations popping up? Anyone had dealer call and offer a previously unobtainable build slot? Or of mark-up going away? Not doubting your honesty 02 Carrera, just sounds like a very different comment by the dealer than what we have previously seen posted. What dealer told you this?

Porsche has demonstrated they now intend to make scarcity the operative plan going forward. So I would be very surprised if RS allocations become common.

With regards to resale value, I honestly never weighted that factor in my buying decision. Of no concern other than to a flipper eh? All cars are depreciating assets, you just chose the level of emotion you desire during the inexorable value-loss process

How much do you trust your dealer? High-volume Boston dealer claimed they were getting 5 too. What they actually got was 1.

no matter how many RS relative to GT3, RS will always hold a higher value relative to the GT3. as RS value drops, it will push down GT3 prices.
