Default How I spent my Sunday

.. digging out. The heavy metal stays inside, but the '02 Carrera and a '92 Vette stay out in the cold... only took 5 hours and a sore back.

I am envious! Can I trade Potomac, MD for Orange County?

Sure! I miss VA/MD sometimes - except during this time of year...

Coming back from the mall in little America (Ramstein AFB), the road to our village was less than ideal. Fortunately we took the Defender. Too bad they do not import them to the US.

Could have used one of those. I miss my Jeep at times like this.

I had a 95 D90 and it remains one of my favorite rides. Even with the leaky roof etc, it was a great truck. Was going to buy another one - but ended up with an FJ b/c I wanted a few modern conveniences (it has taken over as my DD)

What a way to spend a Sunday! Been there, done that.

And it's nice to see a little snow on the ground near Ramstein AB. What town do you live in?

The Defender is a death trap

If you have one get rid of it.....

The new TD4 Defenders rock. Too bad you can't get them in the US. It beats driving around Germany in something from the big three that screams I am an American.

Besides, it is one of the few 7 passenger SUVs in a 6spd manual with a diesel engine. It is great for toting the outlaws around when they visit 'Little America".

Would also like to know what town you live in. While stationed at Sembach in the 70's we lived in Otterberg. I rented a garage from a German family across the street to keep the 911 in. Seems so long ago. Merry Christmas
