SPP is decent and worth the buy, but if you are even thinking about extras like Bluetooth, bite the bullet and do it as part of the build. Apparently it can't be added to the std radio afterwords.

It is nothing special at all, quite boring in fact, I dread to think what the normal setup is like.

My question is why would you keep it off? I use my BT connection, satnav and iPhone link quite regularly, if you only had 2 speakers the whole setup would truly sound terrible.

You can order blue tooth and Ipod without nav.

You need Nav for XM.

That is what I ordered. Bluetooth, Ipod, mats, painted nipples and thicker steering wheel.

Yes but the iPod option sans Nav has only an aux. input and will not charge the iPod, nor will it let you adjust anything via the PCM. My car is coming this way as well as I was not going to pay $3500 for nav and another $440 for the real deal iPod. It was either $3,800 or $95, I chose the latter.

Just add to what you said, iPod without Nav is an auxilary port only (not usb), i.e., radio will not control iPod.

If you wan't full iPod control, then you will need the Nav.

Sounds Plus is pretty much crap IMO (even with the car sitting in the garage). Don't use it at all but frankly don't miss it once that engine kicks over!

My options are bluetooth, smooth thicker steering wheel, floor mats, cup holder (for early morning trips to the track, I can stoop and get coffee a few miles from the track entrance) and Grey/red paint.
