Sharkwerks recently posted some great underside pics of their 2010 silver GT3. A seach should find them. I'm late for work or I'd find them for you.

Thanks All for the Pictures.

GT3 is completely different than regular carrera.

so GT3 owners, must becareful when driving in uneven roads since any grounding will touch the engine directly which may distroy it. but in regular carrera still you pay less for oil reservior.

But very strainge, why regular carrera doesnt have brake cooling ducts!!! you can see most of the new cars are coming with this cooling in front but porsche not!!! is it because porsche weight is in the rear? mayby

I think Porsche should think to continue the panelling with holes to dispose the heat in the rear upto the exahust since all front engine cars do it rather than keeping it this way. it seems there is somthing missing when i look to it the first time i thought the panneling removed to see the engine

whatever, i love it even without any panneling and I am waiting for my car delivery

The lifting points look very flat. What do you guys use as lifting stands as they usually all have those axle type U-tops???

I mean this panelling shoud be stretched to the rear to protect the bottom of the engine. this panelling should be drilled with evacuation holls to dispose the heat coming from the engine.

2010s didn't have cosmoline on them. I'm not sure there is an easy way to get it off the older ones.

Bicycle shops sell a citrus cleaner that removes the cosmoline. You still have to use a tooth brush but it comes right off. Plan on using several cans and wear rubber gloves because it tears up your skin. It doesn't harm the painted surfaces in any way.
