+70 pounds low and just in front of the wheels <70 pounds up high? Where would you guys get rid of the weight?
roof, engine lid, seats, non motor controlled windows?

I'd hate to say I told you so but a bell housing change is a no brainer. Hardly gonna take a whole lot of money nor effort to mate the M64 to PDK. This is why I've never accepted this form of reasoning from Porsche. A friend of mine had a bell housing manufactured to required specs to mate a trans that was never intended for his hotrod and he's an auto elec, not some drivetrain engineer from Porsche.

As for getting rid of the added weight, well thats a whole different issue. Who knows, it will probably balance back the gains from the faster shifts as I can't see them shedding 60-70lb more when they had to pull a skin off the rear tub to cover the weight gain of some LED lights...
