I was told that the reason why only the early 07 RS got the mounting plates (mine has them) and not the later production was that the RS was built on the cup chasis. Later on after a few were build the motorsport division did not have enough chasis to build cup cars so they took the ones designated as RS to be built. and Porsche built the rest of the production run on the GT3 chasis?????? Anyone with evidence can confirm or deny this???

[QUOTE=MJSpeed;7080739]That's exactly what we did for the sunroof. The letter should go to PCNA not PMNA.
Yes and real estate never drops in price...whomever told you this is full of ****!
Real estate never drops in price eventually if you hold it long enough..... I do not see the relation

[QUOTE=malmasri;7082194]Real estate does drop in price. So whomever says it doesn't is simply lying, like whomever told you that story about Motorsports running out of chassis and whatever other bull**** he told you.

Like most of us who have confirmed orders on the 2010 RS, I intend to track my car.
I hope that if all of us bug our dealers we might manage to get the mounting points for the Porsche roll cage included in North American cars. These are standard on ROW cars.
For those who don't know, Porsche did not install the mounting points for the cage in the 2007 RS destined for Canada and the US. A few very early builds got them - a dozen cars or so, but the other 300-400 cars shipped here did not.
I hope that if enough of us make noise, PAG will get the message the same way they did about the sun roof which was going to be standard equipment on the 2007 RS.
Let's get it done!
Best,

Best,
I wish you lot's of luck on that issue......I got lucky with my car...as far as the roll cage mounts go anyway
The US/Canada de-contenting is what made up my mind to not join you and have 2 2010's on the same block.

Burning Brakes
For those of us picking up regular GT3s, can these roll cage mounts be added to those cars as well? And also does anyone have a good source for picking up the clubsport package for aftermarket installation? Thanks.
