Same question here, I was looking for some used wheels myself.
The OZ seem very cheap in 9 x 18 12 x 18. Cheaper than most used wheels offered to me.
I looked at Tire Rack and the have an 18" with OEM 997 GT3 offset in a buch of colors, except silver.
They are called:
O.Z. Alleggerita HLT 1 Pc. Low Pressure Cast/ Shot Peened construction
It came up as 8.5 wide, that is fine, but I prefer 9" wide for 255 front.
Weight seems OK?

I'm tempted by these wheels, they're certainly a lot cheaper than CCW C10s. The 8.5" in front instead of 9" sort of deters me, though. Still hoping to see something turn up used between now and spring.

With the OZ I can get 12" in the rear, so that is good but the Volk 8.5 and 11 are work fine with 255 Front and 315 rear Hoosiers, nitto, Toyo etc. So the OZ should be fine also.
I just wonder about the quality, they are much cheaper. There usually is a reason, but for 30% less I might try a set and maybe 2 sets if I like them and sell my Volks for $1200.00 or something.

I have a set of 8.5 and 12 x 18's for track use on my GT3 (245's Hossier's front and 315's rear). I have to say that I bought these since O.Z. is a reputable brand and the price is impossible to resist, I have used them for 4 track days so far with good results, nevertheless I have to say that I already have a slight bend on one of them!!, the bend is very minor and the effect was compensated with balancing. Last weekend at PBOC daytona event I had to have the wheels balanced (there were a Hossier's on site service station) due to lost of balancing weigths, seems that the fit inside the barrel is a bit tight since brake duct was touching the weights, this can be corrected placing flatted shaped weights or placing them a bit further inside.
In general the wheels work fine, i'm not the most experimented driver around here but i have to say I'm happy with them.

I agree OZ is a good company. If you can run in F1 you pretty much know what you are doing.
How did you bend the wheel? I have the '10 rear ducts that are real tight against the wheel, is that what you mean?
My wheels also lost the weights last week at Daytona. I run the E37Volk wheels, they seems very good quality and light. The tires also turned about a good half turn on the rims. I marked them before I ran the car. My tire installer might use to much greasy stuff, alsthough others who bring the wheels to the same place do not have that problem.
Might have been a good thing that I lost the weights because when I took the wheels of I noticed that I had corded the inside fronts. I bought new Hoosiers and had them rebalanced with clip-on weights by Woodman at the track,but the car vibrated again after 2 sessions. The tires must have turned on the rim again, because the clip-ons should not come off.
I wonder if we lose the weights because of the painted surface of the wheels. If you lost the weights on the OZ that is holding me back from buying those. I had BBS before and never lost a weight, but that was on a different car.

Trakcar, my problem ( the ducts touching the weights) was solved with a little trimming on the rear brakes cooling ducts (I have 997.2 rear ducts), also after a giving the wheels a good cleaning and reinstalling the weights I didn't have any more problems or vibrations.
My whee wasl bent during the first day I used these wheels, at Sebring, the only place I can think where I could had bent the wheel was with the kerb on turn 4-5 (carrousel). The bend is very minor and was detected with the balancing machine, will get this repaired next week.
The wheels are light and prone to bends, I understand that all track wheels are somehow prone to damage, how is you experience with the Volk and the BBS's?.
At daytona, were you on the white 175 GT3? I have to say that this track was a great experience for me, but I still prefer Sebring.

I have had good experience with Volk wheels. I have never had a bend from the track. Did you bend the lip of the wheel (kerb) or did the wheel somehow bend under stress? If it simply bent under stress, I would return it for a new one.

Regarding the weights coming lose, that is really a pain in the ***, I'll keep watching this issue and let you know how it goes,
I'd love to buy a set of E88 BBS, but they are expensive, lets see...

The Volk are good, light wheels, but I will sell them soon cheap. I don't like the look and the gray finish.

Do you tape your wheel weights on. I use the silver metallic AC duct tape and have never lost a weight. The upside to this tape is it leaves 0 residue to clean off As for OZ I would spend the money for CCW's for the track. I have used them on 3 different cars E46M3, 996GT3, 996GT2 and have yet to bend 1. You get what you pay for.
