FS: Wheels for Mk1 997 Gt3
Hello:
Just getting around to clearing the garage, and I wanted to offer first dibbs to the board - 2 sets of wheels from my 07 Gt3. Pics will be added later.
Champion RS98 19x11.5 ET 65 8.5 ET 53 - custom semi-gloss black powder coat - used as my street wheels for 12 months so very good condition - no tires with matching centers - great condition, very minor hairline wear only from tire changes and normal washes. Asking $3000 plus shipping. Weights: 19 (!) front 23.5 rear
CCW 18x12 and 18X9 custom sized for Gt3 - Grey anodized, used 2x on track - like new, with Toyo 888 with 8 HCs on em (and a year old - worth anything?). $2800 obo. plus ship.

No I never used the sensors on the track, so the CCWs don't have them.
I'd say the Toyo tires are still good, although maybe not if you're trying to set lap time records. They're about a year old but still have plenty of tread and have been stored out of sunlight.
Maybe someone here can comment on how tires harden with time?
Together the wheels/tires weigh about 45 rears in 315 sizes (888s are HEAVY) 38 fronts (245 size). The CCWs are very light, it's the Toyos that are heavier than OEM Ps2 tires.

The RS98s take 21-22 lbs unsprung weight total off the car. They're soooo much lighter than stock it's remarkable. You can feel the difference.
