Good question - I don't know. There's a 10kg saving on the buckets, but I'm not all about the weight saving. I think mainly I was worried they weren't as rigid and supportive as the lightweights. Having sat in the GT2 seats recently, I'll be speccing them on the RS. I'll save £1k too.

Congrats on the beautiful new car! Red is so uncommon on Porsches these days that it evokes strong emotions from folks on the road. The colour looks especially stunning in the wild, set amongst trees, traffic and parked in a sea of silver, white and black.
