Default 997 Cup Fuel Tank

Is anyone here interested in a stock fuel tank removed from a brand new 2008 GT3 cup car? This would be the larger size tank (I believe 90 liters or around 24-25 gallons).

The tank is basically new since the car had only 5 miles on it with 0 hours of track time.

It would include the sending unit and the fuel pump. I think all you would need are the larger straps for installing it and probably some basic harware. The dealer should be able to recalibrate your gauge with this tank through the PWIS system.

I would take $700.00 plus shipping. I can get a pretty good rate with FedEx Ground and should easily be able to ship it anywhere CONUS for $150.00 max.

PM me if interested.

This is the tank that tcsracing has installed an is in the process of debugging on his trip to the Targa.

I've got the same tank and am waiting, anxiously.

here are the parts i needed for the CUP tank install.
( i reused my sending unit as the CUP unit dosnt have all the hose connections of our american variant.)

1- 997 201 105 00 strap
1- 997 201 106 00 strap
1- 997 201 331 90 tank support
1- 997 201 043 10 filler neck
1- 996 291 153 00 drain hose

apart from these items the CUP tank needs to be slightly modified to allow the street sending unit to fit into the opening. (CUP opening is slightly smaller)

take into account of labour, misc shop items and getting computer calibrated via porsche or bosch specialist and you got yourself a long range rocket!
