I think the argument of GT3 vs. RS comes down to uniqueness. The RS will be far more collectible in the future unless Porsche starts mass producing them on a yearly basis. I would never be able to drive either one at their limits. As far as price goes, I don't believe a dealer will specify MSRP or above before an allocation is received. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The times of 1580 2.7 liter 1973 911's are over I think. Yes an RS will be worth more...but how many of you buy it to keep it 30 years? If you place your money in the market etc..you will see a better rate of return...or you can start buying vintage Ferrari's etc that you cant drive and enjoy because it will depreciate it. I think you buy a car for the enjoyment and if it goes up in value down the road...its a bonus.

People who bought the RS over a GT3 is because they want to, not they need to.
Bet you don't tell your TT or GT2 customers that they are wasting their money.

Here is what we do know: Porsche is bringing less than 500 GT3s to the US for 10' and just announced they will bring 250 RS' to the US for 10'. It looks like at best you will have a 1:2 ratios of RS' to GT3s.
