I had a set ordered back in Febuaray and cancled them in July when they kept pushing them back. So are they in? did you take any pics to share? did you weigh them?

I'm coming off Corsa's and I've heard some comment that 888's are less than ideal for heavy cars. Given the Black Series crosses 4,100 pounds in track trim, have you (or anyone else) any experience to reference with them on a "heavy" car? 997TT maybe?
I have had a vary good experience with the Corsa's long lasting and decent grip. I have a set of R888's now and so far so good after about 6 HC if you do not shave them. I have been spending lots of time talking to a buddy who is a Hoosier tech, he pounds into me that for a 3100 pound car we need to be running 38/40 hot pressures. I have run the R888 at that pressure with good results in wear and grip.

They arrived 8/14 here in CT. Didn't bother to weight them and sorry, no photos yet.

Come on Ron. We have been anxiously anticipating the arrival of these wheels for months. Post some pics please.

I ran the last event on the Corsa's at 44/40 hot.
Thanks to all for the info, I'll try the R888's and see what happens.

Sorry guys - I've been away for 2 weeks on vacation and returned to getting 2 kids off to college and getting back up to speed with my companies. Just haven't had time to photo. But I'll tell you this. They look just like the photos at TireRack and weigh approximately what Tire Rack posted (18/20). I was unable to weigh them because they were shipped to my race shop (Dan Jacobs) where they had the TPMS sensors / stems and RA1s mounted. As soon as I can photo and report, I will.
