Fugly doesn't even start to describe it...
I've got one on order, the car is brilliant but the school boy graphics....c'mon!

A checkered flag motif? Maybe the designers were watching the Fast and the Furious over beers and came up with their ideas...embarassing. I agree with WalkerinTN someone should be kicked in the gonads. Great car, but get real.

I had a white gold metallic turbo '86. gorgeous color. What about a Porsche graphic like on the original IROC cars? The graphics are so bad they're funny.

I'd just get it spec'd without the graphics or remove them later.

I totally agree AJ

White, silver/charcoal/black wheels, no decals paint/pc wing supports white -- done -- seriously those decals are just awful

the car is awesome and to be honest, I would prefer that the colors offered were different, but I would take any of colors and you can laugh at how ugly it is while you are pointing me by

They should peel off with no problems, but steaming them off is the best and easiest way to do it.

I'll bet that some additional colors and/or deletes will be offered on the production car. The negative response to colors has been very strong.

remember to send letters !!!. I sent mine this morning requesting paint-to-sample.

We can protest all we want in a forum, but letters are the only way for Porsche to acknowledge our requests. I have sent a few ones in the past.

I'd probably be pointing you by if you were driving a Miata.

OT: PJ, contact Ed...his car didn't like the track day yesterday. Get him to buy a 6-GT3

Another way to help remove decals is with a hair dryer or heat gun, but don't get the heat too high because depending on the type of decal, it can make it more brittle and harder to remove (think 8000 little pieces of decal). The goal is to use enough heat to soften the adhesive, not bake it.

^ why is it so painfully obvious to all of us that Ed should get a 6GT3, yet Ed cannot see it?
At todays prices he would likely make money selling his car and buying a 6-3...
Oh... he has a 996 aversion...
Nice sunroof :-)

In reference to the RS, I was speaking to all not to you about the point by... Any of the RS without decals and body colored wing uprights... sick sick fast car. In a second if I had the cash...

I am still partial to ZeKermit at Sharwerks -- big motor and green mk1 rs... like two victoria secret models tangled up and cat fighting

Yeah..the new decal package sucks but the colors arent that bad. In fact, I like the grey black and red. I'd order that color scheme. Just remove the tacky decals.
