Nothing fishy happening

Just conducting some research in advance of a potential raffle. The spec I put up was what we intend to have as the prize.

I can't say much more because the board of the non-profit I am part of has not yet approved the raffle's go ahead.

"two post noob" ???? Well a hearty welcome to you too

regards

OK, then please name the non-profit. My PCA region is a non-profit organization too.

How could any intelligent person answer your original question without knowing the maximum number of tickets to be sold? How many tickets would folks buy at only $10? Lot's more? Maybe, but not if you're selling 200,000 of them.

Try "Hi, my name is Brat and I drive a ________ Porsche" if you'd like to be welcomed more warmly.

sorry can't say who the organization is - as I said the board has not yet approved the raffle

On the ticket number score, hypothetically total tickets could be between 3000 and 5000.

But this leads me to another question;

Would the type of organization affect ones decision to enter a raffle regardless of the prize?

Would it matter if it was a civic organization, hospital, animal charity or cultural institution benefiting from the raffle?

regards

i dont quite understand raffles.
if it's charity, sure, i donate, i dont want the tix. that's the thing i dont understand about american charities. after all the hoopla, there's no money left for the "cause".
if it's not charity, i wont buy any tix. i would just buy the car and be done with it.
or i just goto vegas and test my luck there.

just my take on raffles.

Put me down for 2 @ $150, or 3 at $100....as long as I can change the options...
