I hate seeing these pics. It reminds me what can happen to my car on the track!

It really makes me think that we're taking the wrong approach to this track stuff. We should all buy a 1999 996, slap a set of Motons and GT3 control arms and then have fun. I bet I could be at least a second faster per lap in a car that is disposable rather than my beloved street car.

Great point FC. If we werent so in love with these cars and we were smarter we would either:

A: do what Mooty is doing and racing spec Boxsters OR

B: Race the Spec Miata. The ultimate disposable car!

thus i am in BSR now.
it is SO MUCH more fun.
i come to a turn, stick my car inside, EVERY GT3 gets out of my way ;-)
i replaced my rear bumper 3x already this season. let see how many bumpers GT3 drivers would replace before then let me by ;-)

i thought about SM. but i think both SCCA and NASA would throw me out. i did plan to buy 3 SM all at once. arrive and drive. if i get taken out, i have two spare cars... it's so fun driving bumper car.... hahaha.

i did the same thing with an E30 and then a E36 M3. you feel free to push that card for all its worth. i miss that, but also couldn't part with a new sports car to enjoy on the street and driving at 8/10's. time to buy a 996 or 986 for exploring the nooks and crannys of the ring!
