I have no interest here except that I bought my GT3 from this dealer and have referred many happy people.

Here are the specs: Its nicely optioned. No too much, not too little.

ˇ Heated Seats

ˇ PCCB

ˇ Bluetooth

ˇ Sport Chrono Plus

ˇ XM

ˇ I-Pod Apt.

Here is his contact info:

So will there ultimately be more threads on the car itself, or threads on allocations available?

It could be that PCNA is releasing lots of initial cars and then there could be no allocations for months. I have seen this happen in the past.

Yep, same thing the dealers are telling me. They said most likely if there are any more cars later, they will be pre-specced by Porsche. It isn't uncommon for dealers to get 1-2 of these late allocations as Porsche will build cars just to clear out manufacturing floor inventory late in the model year. Here is a couple other interesting things:

- They also said that the number of allocations are about half the number of 07' GT3 allocations. Production is expected to be more limited.
- All their 2010 allocations for all Porsche models were cut back to about half the number of 2009 allocations.
- Although not officially announced yet, both the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo appear to be cancelled. Porsche is not releasing allocations for these models.
- The Porsche factory is shutting down for not the typical 1 month, but now 2 months for the model switchover.
- Porsche laid off 15% of their workforce as a result of being short on cash from the recent investment in VW and VW's stock tanking.
