Default Giro

16 track days. Minimal wear. Just normal heat cracking. Work great. Still quiet compared to other 2 piece designs.

Fitment for 997.2 Carrera 4S steels? Preferably with a Caliper spacer? What's the matching pad for street and for track with these rotors? Do the rotor make noise (floating hardware noise)?

You have the 996TT brakes correct? IE same F&R as 996TT?
Porsche has done some pretty weird OEM brake fitments on the later 997s is why I ask.

Craig, the 05-09 Carrera S use the same calipers/rotors as the 996TT.

That's what I thought; the early 997S I was certain took the 996TT setup.

$600, I presume includes pads, spacers and new bolts, still, far too expensive for a humble Carrera -- might have made sense to a cashed-up Turbo buyer three years ago, I guess, but $2400+ for just the consumable even if the claim is 4x "normal" life. : )
