The only thing I worry about is trying to keep the wrench on axis to the nut (which appears to have a shallow grip) while applying 120 pounds to the end of a 40" lever by myself.
It seems it would be a lot easier to apply 1/3 of that to a shorter lever with the additional support of the arm in the spoke using the multiplier.

If you want the best, nothing like Stahlwille torque tools imo:

Good point Cupcar. Though I've seen many a raceteam torque with the single wrench and someone in the car holding the brakes. I think a spare wheel nut or 2 will be a good thing to keep in the trailer.

All I can find in the Hazet catalog, different than Porsche tool (which I understand is also Hazet) for sale here http://www.weltweitwerkzeug.net/-Haz...866-0-0-0-0-0/ for Euro 600:

Centerlock Wheel Nut Torque
I checked the torque on the centerlock nuts of my GT3 this past weekend using a Snap On 120-600 ft-lb torque wrench (42"long handle). The amount of effort required to "click" the wrench at 370 ft-lb was reasonable as I was pushing the wrench downward. It was more difficult for my 19 year old daughter to keep the wheels from turning while pushing on the brake pedal (engine off - no power brake assist).
There was no tendency for the centerlock nut socket supplier by Porsche to slide off the nuts during torquing. The socket seems to lock in when pushed onto the nuts. The nut locking mechanism popped back out on all but one of the wheels when the socket was removed -- I had to fiddle with the 4th to pop out the lock.
The centercap trim piece on each centerlock nut can be damaged unless the screwdiver blade is inserted fully to pop the cap off. I bent up the metal work on one of my caps by not inserting the blade fully.

Could you explain a little more detail on the nut locking step? I am going to try this tomorrow and don't want to get stuck mid way through. I can get the GT3 cap off without damaging it but how does the safety nut lock work? TIA

The wheel nut is not a standard Hex fastener. The socket is a custom piece that is included with each GT3. While the socket is included, it doesn't come with the necessary breaker bar and/or torque wrench.
