Default got some CGT shells

was tired of the stock seats so I got a pair of CGT shells

I thought they were a bit pricey, but worth it once you consider they come with a V10 upgrade and active aero. I'm already used to the PCCB, but the ceramic clutch (new one just got installed in it) should be a fun adventure. I literally live on a track now which also means I've got a 40+ minute high speed commute to work on sinewy farm roads and freeways with no traffic...

it's an 04 with 7900 miles. I'm going to do a full wrap job on it in the same color as the Ruf CTR3 from the mags a few months back- was thinking about matte black, but matte dark grey will look more unique! I want it to be like the tumbler from batman. The car will be at Ruf in a few days in Dallas if anyone who goes there wants to take pics of the wrapping, I'll be in Detroit then houston for the next 7 days "working". it should all be sorted when I get back!

I'll be selling some of my other toys...probably the RS and maybe the 993TT

also: my new to me SPbox...

so for those of you keeping score at home, that's 6.

04CGT
08RS
06 MX-5 Cup
03 F250 Diesel "Warthog"
9x Spbox
96 993TT

(still looking for a Spec Racer Ford)

recently sold and previously enjoyed: 08 Cobalt GT3, 07 red RS4
missed: 97 red 993C2S, 95 red 850 Turbo, 83 white 300CD turbodiesel
good riddance: 97 S Class (bad transmission), my ex-girlfriend

I'm gonna need to update my signature.

CJ,

Congratulations on the CGT !!!

PM me, I have a short list of necessary updates to the CGT depending on how you want to use it.

By the way, your SPBOX is the sister car of my former SPBOX. Mine had the Red graphics instead of Blue. Check the boxsterspec.com, fun and very active site for the BSR (Boxster Spec Racing).

I hope you bring that CGT to a track day. It would be great to shoot videos, and get times from that monster.

I'm very interested as well. I mean on paper the CGT is great track weapon (power, brakes, balance, width, aero), but such a rare car must be harder to setup or get the right parts to set it up, no?

there's really no point in doing time attack type stuff in a cgt on the track for me- I'll point and squirt it plenty at motorsport ranch but not infineon raceway if ya dig

Wasted no time filling that 6 car garage, did you?

I'm glad you decided on getting the CGT instead of your other idea of buying 17 Prius's...

Congrats Mr. Wilson, I see we're in the big league with the CGT. Post som pics of your spec box.

Funny how some people have a bunch of exotic cars in the garage and you have a bunch of track cars. Not a big choice to choose from when it comes to daily drivers??

I don't wash my F250, so it's already got a matte grey finish!

I'll do you one better and post some videos of spbox.

with the track cars, they're more useful- well for me because of where I live. maybe one day I'd have a collection of cool cars but my list is very peculiar. CGT was an opportunity that I jumped for at a great price.

who's got the fiat?

I'll do some spbox stuff this offseason- I'm actually going to have an arrive and drive thing set up pretty soon for people who want to race/test them.
