Then get yourself a 996 GT2. Herd they started to hit the 60s. Great ride to go to the gym. Plenty of grunt for a little light to light action.

You responded yourself to this thread and it's still alive in the 996 GT2/GT3 forum. It was from dallas and for sale at 65.9K.

Oops well that isn't a clean car, people have history upon it, that's why I didn't consider it a "true GT2" in the sixties.. I mean wrecked Gallardos go for 40k, not the true value.

I saw the red GT3. Great car but still a little much on the track side of things. I'm looking for a little more refinement on the road and still an occasional track day. So, where are the cheap Gallardos and GT2's???? I would also jump on a high mile 997 turbo. I'm driving the Lotus today...I can get it for 35K if I want it before it is sold to a dealer. Darn good deal. I'l will see how I fit...hopefully without losing an arm!!

quick release steering wheel helps in the lotus. without it you may require a shoehorn as i did

Get the lotus. Or if you want more of a street car, have you looked at the new M3?

Drove the Lotus...very nice ride. But, I would have to hire a midget to ride with me to help me out of the car. Drove an m3 on the track...too soft.

Probably right. But, if I could make it happen, I would be in good shape over the next year or so for depreciation.

I want my RS back! Where is the new one??!!
