I can use the oem pads with PFC rotors. I don't use paid pads anymore, my question is if I can use endless or pfc pads with those totes without trimming.

Tks

997.1 uses OEM size, 997.2 uses special pads as do all aftermarket rotors - easy availability from Pagd, didicated pt #

2010 & up Gt3? PFC takes specific pads IIRC -

For Giro and Brembo....not others

PFC dimpled rotors have a swept depth of about 64mm and use OEM pads without a problem... Mine is at the dealer having them installed and oem pads fitted as we speak....

PFC slotted require a narrower pad as they have a swept depth of 60mm....

Both PFC brake ring types fit the same hat so you can switch between the two also...

For .2 GT3 cars...PFC is the way to go...period.

roughly what is the cost for a set of PFC in 380mm for a .1RS?
how about the rears which I believe are 350mm?

ballpark? are they in the same neighborhood as brembos?

Less than Brembo by a fair margin I'd say... Izzone and Trakcar may be able to give you a good idea for cost in the US. I paid AUS$1000 a corner for the fronts from the local distributor. The oem would have cost me $1100 per corner....

Pros and Cons of "dimpled" over "slotted" in cost, durability, brake feel etc.? And what pads are best to go with, OEMs or PFC's? (That's for a 7.2GT3 mostly track-only car). My OEM fronts are almost gone with "spiders" creeping to the outside in 17 t-days. I liked the feel of the OEM brakes and they didn't really fade much but then again I have no comparo since I just started last year :-). I just wonder if there are some longer-lasting rotors/pads combos available. Tx, Horst.

Dimpled and slotted PFC are constructed much the same way... The slotted would have more bite then the dimpled and the dimpled are consequently quieter. The main reason to choose dimpled over slotted with their set up is if you intend on continuing with OEM pads or not... Slotted have a swept depth of 60mm and guys here have had huge success with PF08 pads. They also last heaps longer than oem...

The oem pads have a depth of 62-63mm so if you intend on sticking with the oem pads, you will need to go dimpled like me... I intend on moving on to slotteds (swapping friction rings) and PF08 pads when my driving abilities on the track warrant it...

Trakcar and Izzone have used both variants of these rotors and have had much success with them... The rotors definitely outlast the oem rotors from what I've seen...

Cost difference between slotted and dimpled is negligible... less than 5% difference IIRC...
