New Suspension for the RS
JRZ full Race shocks
machined Rear subframe, raised up into chasis
RSR Uprights
ERP dogbones
ERP Shock Hats
ERP thrust arm bushings
Mono ball control arm ends
no rubber left!!
So much for the value, spend $$, worth less?
Driving it, hopefully priceless, will let you know.

Not worth less to me personally. One day I will upgrade my suspension too, I don't have any intention of selling the car anyway, and since it has so many track miles on it, I sincerely doubt that any suspension mods will deduct from the already lowered value. Besides everything seems to perfectly reversable except maybe for the "machined Rear subframe, raised up into chasis"
I'm jealous, please post your findings after taking it to the track

Will be driving the Rs @ NHIS on 5-20, will let yu know results.
TCS: I did almost exactlay the same mods to my turbo and the car is an absolute hammer. On this car we went with the JRZ race only because the full project entails being converted to a full track car, with full cage, wide fendered carbon body, etc, so figured might as well not compromise with the suspension.
I'll foward spring rates used, & more pics when I get all the info from the builder this weekend.

I wimped out on full custom cage and went with full bolt in clubsport cage.
I will be racing my RS, but i will also be using it for the odd DD and touring so full interior/comfort stays.

I assume you are going to use cup doors?

Just returned form the car builder's.
The rear subframe is machined where is bolts to the body, allowing the subframe to move up approx 25mm, thereby raising the suspension mounting in the chassis, lowering the roll center.
I will attach some picutres soon. the uprights also require new bearings and retainers as the motorsport part has a 6 bolt bearing retainer and a much more robust bearing. This is a relatively well known technique that a porsche race car builder would be familiar with.
Also saw some new hardware from ERP. The front suspension strut that is as about 30 deg horizontal to the wheel, connecting the subframe to the upright ( sorry do not know the name).
More billet - more $$ time to go back to work!
Not sure what body he will be using yet, that is still in the study phase i guess. Cup doors or the doors that may come with whatever kit Bill selects. The wheel -suspension combo that we want to use is about 1.2" wider at all corners. going to run the car for a few months in this configuration while we obtain the the rest of the hardware, good weather is almost here & North East is a short season. As many of you know, this can take alot of time.
