I used to see your car almost every day...I live at Jarvis/Front across from the market. Noticed it was gone Saturday when I was out for a walk with my wife.

Congrats. Hope you got a decent deal as it's been sitting there for a while.

Sorry, my experience was with a basically stock 6GT2 not sorted and this is comparing it to my 6GT3..in saying this my GT3 also needed some sorting to get it right.

I am sure when you get the 6GT2 sorted as you have it's a great car.

But so far as is the new 7GT2 is a winner...drive the new 7GT2 and you will know what I mean.

Man oh lawdy, what a beast. Congratulations.

Those seats are THE CAT'S MEOW, they do it all.

Comparing the 2 out of the box, you are nothing but correct... 7 GT2, was fantastic, 997 GT3 and RS too... Been in them all

996 variants needed some reworking indeed, but I thought you meant as a whole, in general not just stock form they were terrible... Because GMG's class winning GT2's , and several other people would disagree..

BUT, congrats and enjoy that beauty of a 997 GT2, its an amazing machine!

Congrats! Awesome looking car. I love the white stitching and those seats ... boy I can't wait to be able to justify the expense to put them on my GT3!

What type, size and weights are your wheels?
How do you get away with using those MGs on the street and not cracking them???

Most of the miles were with the stock wheels..only track use and very little street driving for the Mag wheels.
Weird to say...I almost know every bump on every road I drive.

For the GT2 I just got a set of Black Champion RS98 wheels, they are also very light, should save 35lbs and will be using the exact size Hoosier A6 tires.

You mean 285/30R18 and 345/30R19 right?

I got the A6 in 19" stock size...

Correct should have gone with the 275/18, that would have got the same size front to back...sizing.
Since my 6GT3 abs problem I try to stay as close to stock sizing as I can.
