Default Extended length seatbelt receivers?

Has anyone installed the lengthened seatbelt receivers.
I have Sparco DTM seats in my 997 GT3 which I love, but its hard to get the stock belts clipped in. I know Speedware used to sell them. If you have them
do they look ok? or do they stick up too high?
Do they work well?

I've got them too, on my 997 GT3RS CF shells -- they look great, and frankly they are not that much longer.

Call the parts dept at Carlsen Porsche, in Redwood City, CA -- they will know exactly what you need, and may even have everything in stock.

Here is a pic -- as you can see, they are not that much longer (but just enough to make a difference)

Any chance you could take a pic of the buckle as it's mounted to the slider bracket? I'm still not sure exactly what factory hardware fits -- the challenge is getting the square hole mount in a shorter stack height so it doesn't jam into the tunnel carpet.

Adam -- I just tried to take a picture for you, but the tolerances are just too tight . . . I can't get a good shot. In fact, it is so tight I can't even give you a good description! [Perhaps it is too dark in my garage] Pete

p.s. Great seeing you at PSDS last October -- I had fun chasing you in the rain -- you are pretty darn quick, my friend.

^ any reason why the oem belt doesn't thread through the shoulder harness hole?
