Default Top Gear on BBC America: Stig's GT2 Lap Time?
Just watched the first episode of Season 12 on BBC America this evening, and was excited to learn the Stig's lap time in the 997 GT2... Unfortunately, Clarkson chose to burn the result before posting it up on the board...

Does anyone know the Stig's laptime in the GT2?

That was on the last series. They havent started series 13 yet have they? I watched the ending
series 12 show that went to Vietnam. I never saw the GT2 time.

Yeah it was the next episode of series 12 after the GT2-LP560 test. They just briefly mentioned it.

That he did - in white font on the white background...

Drumroll.......... The GT2 clocked the same time as the Lambo...

I can't remember what that was - but GUESS it was 1:19.x

1:19.5, 2 tenths quicker than the scud and the GTR.

Does anyone know the ring time for the new GT3 with the 3.8L engine? How does it compare to the GT3 RS 3.6, GT2, GT-R?

Are this times accurate?
It shows the Cayman being 1 sec quicker than the GT3 around the track!!
And the GTR as quick as the Scud. Wow...

The GTR/Scud times are accurate, not sure about the rest. Also bear in mind (1) that many of the times are not for current models, and (2) many of the laps were done in wet conditions (the GT2 and the LP560 were both tested on a damp track). The GT3RS time is for the 996 iteration (tied a 360CS). I don't recall them taking a 997 GT3 around the track for a laptime, but I do remember the Stig (in a GT3) racing Sabine Schmitz (in an R8).
