Default sway bars torquing help?

Sorry but I got no love on my previous post which alluded to this....
But can someone with experience on the sway bar settings and torquing tell me:
1) how much torque for tightening the bolts on the sway bars?

2) how do u change the settings at home?

3) do they need to be greased anywhere to prevent hissing/noise?

Any help would be appreciated
Thx

I am going to give you the benefit of some second hand knowledge, as I have not done this yet on my 3 but have watched it done.
1) When the shop adjusted mine they tightened by hand no Torque wrench. I would say once snug no more that 1/4 to 1/8 turn you done have to make them killer tight
2)You just make sure car is level and loosen up both ends and move it to the desired setting, If I understand what your asking
3) NO NO, NO A shop put a lubricant on the rubber bushings on my friends Cayman and they it did not last for two track events, so at least on the OE version no lube. That is my experience as limited as it is. good luck.

Some bushing companies offer a special lube (eg. Energy.) I used it when installing the GT2 sway on a GT3 (uses different bushings, same U-clamps.) And after innumerable track days, well, no noise and apparently no failure of the bushing (having swapped between each setting, I think I would have noticed if the bushing had seized or otherwise failed.)

"Hissing" doesn't sound like any part of the suspension except PASM (which I think should be mostly silent except on the Cayenne.)
