Default USA Gt2 Availability

Stopped by my dealer last week (Okemos Auto Collection, Michigan) and in chatting with the sales guy who got me my '07 GT3, he stated he was unable to order a GT2 for a customer who wanted one (@ $219, 000) Because Porsche wouldn't sell him one!

Is this likely an allocation thing, or has Porsche decided to not import the Gt2?

You gotta sell 'em to get 'em. My sales guy told me after he sold two 997TTs in one day Porsche allocated a GT2 and a GT3 to his dealership. Previously this place couldn't get either.

yea that sounds like a small dealer.
There are plenty on bigger lots across the US of A!!

Call that guy back and get the buyer. IF he pays me 25,000 I will find him a GT-2 for 220K AND
refund 5K of his money!!! and it will end up costing him ~219K

(RL guys dont tell anyone but I will find one for 195 and pocket the difference!! ITs a SECRET!!)

Again dont TELL ANYONE but here is one at 198 that I can get for 193! BUT DONT TELL ANYONE!!!!
SHHHHhhhhh!
I worked HARD to find it on Autotrader and I put over 5 MINUTES into this research!!
