Looking for BBS rims for my 07 GT3. Should I get 18 inch or 19s... I know there are more tire selections for 18 inch rims but am thinking of just using PS 2s for tires... thoughts?

If just for street, then I'd stick with 19s to get the correct rear diameter in PS2. I have 3 sets of rims / tires... PS2s in 235/305 19" on my OEM wheels, PSCup / Corsa in 19" on my Volks from Tire Rack (good source for BBS), and Hoosiers in 245/315 on my 18" Fikse Profil 13s.

you'd be surprised how hard it is to find tires for 18" wheels...
hoosiers, toyos, michelins are all coming in OEM sizes now.
if you spend 6k for wheels, that's 4 sets of toyo R888 19" or 4 sets of hoosiers...

I ran 19 in. BBS RSGT wheels with PS2 tires on my 997 GT3 and was happy with the combo. In fact when the GT3 was bought back I kept the BBS wheels and tires and they will go on the 2009 Carrera S. BBS makes good wheels, high quality control and German TUV approved

Geesh 8 months ago everyone was saying 18" for this car no brainer. NOW
everyone is saying in this thread 19's.
I am glad I have time to ponder this while in recovery from back surgery in Dec.

- that car looks incredible
- not usually a silver fan - but wow
- plus it looks like you are running just a wee bit of front camber - must handle very nice
- what are the wheel specs and what tires are you running

I am in the process of reading a book on car handling and set ups, getting ready to make some suspension changes on the 3. From what I am reading so far the suspension is tuned to a specific tire size, profile, compound and weight, so while it is relevant and it may alter the handling characteristic in the car, I think the 19 is preferable to 18. You are just gaining tire choices in 18 but not improving the handling of the car. My 2 cents.
