Default What's A Fair Price For My Cobalt Blue GT3 ???

This is not a feeler ad. I am committed to putting my car on the market for sale.
My car is a 2007 with 4800 miles, Cobalt Blue, GT3.
I paid $120K in Sept 2007, including premium.

Seems a lot of them are available for sale over sticker.
What would be a fair selling price for a quick sale ?

.

george,
i am sure you have visited this website before but in case you have not i think this can help give you a better idea of what the current market for the gt3 is like. they are holding their values very well. GL with the sale, sell it before the mk2 hits our shores. hope this helps.

I think you should be able to get between $115K and $120 K with a little patience, maybe even a little higher if you have PCCB's. $110 K to $115K should get you a quick sale.

Blue may not be the most popular color (white and black seem to me more in demand) that said color looks great on the car so there are bound to be buyers looking for that color. Good luck!

Thanks. Actually, most people are awe-struck when they see the color.
It is incredible and pictures do it absolutely no justice.

I see a lot of GT3's in the mid-teens, asking.
Don't know if they are "selling" at those prices.

George - what are the major options? PCCBs, nav, etc. will change the price noticeably. Otherwise, for a lightly-optioned car with that mileage, I've been seeing around $120K. You should break even - you might make money if it's got PCCB, etc.

Good luck George. Cobalt GT3 is perfect. I would be all over it if I don't have a club coupe.

Hope you can sell it before the winter as it will be harder to sell when the weather turns bad.

i believe the current market for a 5k mile GT3, irrespective of color, is 5 to 10back (under) sticker. if a 1000mile car, maybe closer to sticker. and if you just happen to find the guy who just kills for the non standard colors (im almost always one of those guys), then you could get nearer to sticker.
for a fast move, figure 5 to 10 below sticker. the market is still really soft not so much because of the car, but few are plunking out big dollars for anything these days. atleast thats my two cents being a repetitive shopper.

i think your color, fyi, is awsome. and as a collector, i'd be a buyer at a higher figure than "the market". in my estimation maybe that color is worth a few k more.
