I hope the R8 will join the new BMW in ALMS. Great looking car.

What's not 100% clear is if it's a pure racer - only for the track/racing ala Porsche Cup, RSR etc, or if it's a road car ala GT3 RS, I suspect the former which is probably just as well otherwise I might have to trade in my GT3 for one!

If that thing is roadgoing, what's the prediction on pricing? $275k?

well the std car MSRP is around 120k ... I would not expect a 150k premium

The car looks amazing. I'm really impressed with Audi styling. If it's available to the public, I am going to want one.

Interesting that the racecar has two seats! I guess they built it for journalist ride-alongs?

apparently you guys didn't get the memo- audi is trying to be the new ferrari.

this car absolutely will cost 250-350k. audi is trying to take the mantle from porsche regarding the most profitable automaker title...oh and since it's not street legal, they're not going to sell it to random schmoes like us!
