NEW GT2 FOR SALE
For anyone interested, I just found out that there is a new GT2 for sale at Tom Williams Porsche in Birmingham, Alabama. I've dealt with those guys on several new Cars (including my current GT3RS). It's White, sticker is $200,600 and "mark up is $15,000. I've always dealt with Lee Goodson 205-397-2700.
I'm not brokering the car, nor making a dime off of it. I just thought I would let you guys know in case anyone was looking for one.

Porsche Roslyn has 3 gt2's(one hideous yellow specimen), 2 gt3rs, several gt3's and turbo cabs. Not a lot of turbo coupes though (only bc they didn't have a lot of allocations). If I wanted a Gt2 bad enuff I bet I could get one for sticker right now.
Yes, the tide is turning.

ha, the party is over for now. but remember, there are two things you can always count on, besides death and taxes. the US economy over the long run....... and Porsche being profitable.

I love my RS, and cannot even think of parting with it.
But today, at local dealer:
5 GT2s (all were $10-15K over MSRP on the floor- but can get them at MSRP)
2 GT3 RSs ($155K, $165K)
5 911 Coupes

Yeap, just got a call from my dealer, has a brand new black/black GT2 w 63mls, MSRP 204K of that they want $13K over for which is basically what the buyer had to pay in taxes. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll put you in touch. I'm not interested myself, but I never was in the GT2 anyway.

Tom Williams is not worth doing business with in my opinion. I was the one that ordered the GT2--upon delivery to the dealership, I was contacted to arrange for pick-up and of course payment. They told me that it would be MSRP + 40K...Never in the ordering process was a mark-up discussed. I promtly declined the car b/c of this--they called back a while later and offered it at 10k over. Deal was still rejected. The 1k deposit was returned. Shame shame...But given the market, I am glad it didn't work out. None the less, shame shame. What the hell has happened to people's honor in business?
