Default In-car vids from trackday today

Some in-car videos from today @ Dunnville Autodrome:

Session 1: dry, ghetto lines and gear selection: http://youtube.com/watch?v=u0-l3yxHXZc

Session 4: super wet, forget lines, don't hit the puddles: http://youtube.com/watch?v=hV4rnTF0azE

Session 5: still wet, but drying and a lot of fun: http://youtube.com/watch?v=8CGL5r-Ahzk

I really enjoyed driving in the wet conditions today, the car felt fantastic. I have a few more cool angles including a rear-facing view that I'll put up tomorrow.

Cheers!

I was hoping you'd be drifting and sliding like a rally car...is that wrong?

- come on, you should of had that car sideways in the rain - maybe even open the door while doing it and wave to the fans

haha, I'll for sure do a bit more showboating next time The car is surprisingly easy and balanced to drive in the rain. The only problem was puddles, which is normal for race tires.

I was out at Shannonville last night and did the 4km long-track. Really enjoyed that track and had a blast. Such a fun weekend, got in at least 3hrs of on-track time on Saturday and another 2hrs on Sunday at two different tracks.

As has been the case in every track day so far, the car didn't miss a beat and didn't even require any oil. Indeed, she just turned 10,000km and required her first litre of oil a few hundred km ago. What a car!!!

The Pagid Yellows have exceeded my expectations. The pedal is rock-hard and consistent lap after lap after lap and they require almost no time to heat up as well. Even the rotor wear looks great. Too bad they squeal like crazy on the street, otherwise I'd leave them in all the time.

Be careful driving on the track with your sunroof open. I don't let my students drive with their sunroofs open.

Great point On Pole. I ran with the sunroof closed on the Sunday
