Default Happy 4th of July Everyone!

Hey folks, I forgot to say this yesterday (was having such a good time at SnowBoarder's _amazing_ getaway) but Happy 4th to everyone! This year for me is a little different since I just became an American Citizen a few weeks ago.

Be safe, spend time with the family and no drinking and driving Porsches

Alex,

Congrats! Looks like you must be fully committed to this "side of the pond"!

BTW appreciate the time you took educating me while I was considering my GT3 purchase. Those couple of phone calls two months back while I was vacationing with family in Hawaii were very instumental. Its certainly clear to me as why you have so many dedicated customers....Bound to do business with you one of these days...I'm not local to the bay area or it would have happened already....Cheers

but now you get to pay more taxes, get to vote b/n bad and very bad political candidates and suffer from the ever declining USD, the future carry trade of choice.

we went up to Snowboarder54's amazing remote getaway near Ashland Oregon for a July 4th bash (he sure knows how to throw a party!)...

The view from the pier on his pond...

James, who might know how to build a 3.8 but still needs to figure out how to work a hose....

The party underway and a Porsche GT3 corral even in remote Oregon...

Porsche nerds, me/James, SnowBoarder54 and Seth (we even got to meet one of Juan Manuel Fangio's mechanics there too- no joke!).

Imagine finding these in a barn...

It was an amazing way to celebrate being a US citizen that's for sure... Thanks ever so much to Snowboarder54/Linda!

PS Those roads are something else but it's going to take a lot more than a 3.8 to keep up with you!

Mooty, not sure if you travelled to the east of Ashland, but Dead Indian Highway or Hwy 66 would have been nice roads to test the frog!

hey nat3970, I am indeed and this is my home. The way I look at it is that I was born and educated in London, UK but I became who I am here if that makes sense?

Thanks so much for the kind words and absolutely my pleasure on the advice- any time!

After 18 years in the good 'ol USA, me too being sworn in July 24th to become American.

This is definately the right side of the pond!!

I mean an RS in Europe will set you back at least double the price, ditto a gallon a gas! Never mind road tax, insurance and jealous socialists scratching your wheels to punisch you for working more than 32 hours a week.

Here you can enjoy the car without such inconveniences. Worth every penny of the 28% tax bracket.

To me that is persuit of life, liberty and the persuit of happiness allright!!!
