Default Market Value 2008 GT3RS

I have an opportunity to buy a silver with orange '08 RS with 100 miles still on MSO. Is $37K over too much based on the currrent market? That's what the dealer is asking. Thanks for any advice you guys can give.

FWIW, a dealer called me to offer me their customer's orange/silver RS (very low miles, but no doubt titled) if anyone is interested (not just idle curiosity) I'm happy to get more information on when it's up for sale and what's the ask.

ps. So someone drove it on dealer plates for 100 miles? I presume it's the dealer principal. Sounds dubious.

That sounds like a decent price for an untitled '08, although silver is the least popular color (I happen to like it). If you're willing to go for a used one you could probably have any color you wanted for that price (except white).

Silver may be the least popular color right now but that could change. It is the rarest color and may increase value as time goes by. Silver happens to be my favorite color on the RS.

Two 08 RS's just sold on EBAY, both listed by dealers, Champion and Paul Miller. The Champion car was a loaded green $168,000 MSRP, they said it sold for $215,000, buy it now was $224,000. Don't know what the Paul Miller white RS sold for but MSRP was around $148,000, the bidding was just over $200,000 with less than 10 hours to go and I think reserve was met. These cars were sold at least$40,000 over.

YES THATS OVER. I have seen green and orange ones going for around the 35-40K mark .
the silver orange you speak of is the least desirable color so I think Mooty is right

30K over for that silver one, or less.

It seems the white cars do the best as long as they have PCCB's and Black or some other contrasting wheel color. Not offically confirmed but from my observations. Then green and orange.

Silver-Orange is much better in person than in pictures.

If there's one set of stoppers you haven't cooked, it's on the RS.

Anyhoot, Moot, what's this TPMS jiggery-pokery mentioned recently? You've disabled the TPMS?
