C.J.: Saw you on the news last night. Good job. You missed a great track day near by. Maybe some day you can get out to Kent in the AM.

CJ is on pace for 40+ saves and nary a word in the Dallas press. The Rangers have suffered for YEARS withoug a decent closer when they have had decent starting pitching and only once they had John Wettland. Now they have one and NOBODY in DFW knows. Its a shame that CJs season is going along so nicely and no one (DMN or ESPN) gives him any credit. I guess after the season when someone notices how many saves he racked up, somebody will say something. But he is tied for 6th in the league for saves

OG it's okay...the dallas sports people drink haterade all day, and jock the cowboys. Once the redwings smoke the stars in the playoffs, they'll have no choice. I personally don't care too much about Evan Grant @dmn reporting on my season- he's the 1980's ford escort of reporters and I told him I wouldn't talk to him the rest of the season 2 months ago. Jeff Wilson and TR sullivan (mlb.com) are nicer guys with less sneaky personalities.

roberga- dude I've been sitting in my hotel reading racing books for the last 3 days...I'd love to come out to the next one when we're back in town weather permitting.

I'd love to make the all-star team, and I've got a long way to go for that...maybe then I could get a date with Irina Shaykhlislamova.

CJ could make the all Star team if Texas could get him enough chances I.E. win enough games
to get him enough chances.
Sorry CJ I get peeved at the DMN and I know Colinshaw pretty well.

Cowlishaw only covers the cowboys...he seems like a cool dude but I'm "just a pitcher" so don't take it personally...if you want to get good news from an actual rangers fan-

www.newbergreport.com jamey newberg knows more about the rangers than every other reporter...and he's not even a reporter.

I must admit I've become a bit of a novice Rangers fan now that I know there's a true Porsche fan in the bullpen.

Just take it easy on my beloved Royals (pitiful, I know).

Hey CJ, who do you plan once the interleague games come around? Do you know if you play the Pads?

CJ
Colinshaw is a columnist so he covers everyone, just writes an opinion column. I email him all the time and he has put some of my stuff in the DMN. Usually when I disagree about something. He is also on that ESPN television show Around the Horn and wins every once in awhile. He has also got sucked up on ESPNs NASCAR shows. I have talked to him about you and he likes you. If you show him how much of an intellectual you are he would probably talk to you alot. I find him to be alot smarter than other guys I have talked with in the Dallas Media.

OG I get in trouble from the high salary guys on the team for being intellectual. I'm just supposed to hang out and throw 95mph.

aaron- don't worry KC has trey hillman as their manager- he's an amazing dude and will take them as far as they can go.

pete- don't play san diego this year...which is too bad because I'm friends with the manager and also former ranger property Chris Young
