Default Help!!!!!! Battery keeps shorting out?

I had my 997 GT3 in storage for the winter with a Porsche battery tender.

The car started fine when I took it out of storage.

Now, after charging the battery the car will start once and after a day the battery is dead.

I even put a new battery in it yesterday and the car fired up just fine.

This morning the new battery is dead.

Any ideas what could be causing the short/power drain.

Thanks all.

Mike

Radar detector, cell phone, iPod - any of these plugged in? Also, lock the car with the remote - when not locked there is a residual power draw...but it sounds as if your problem may be more than just these basics. Let us know.

Jenk:

I have some power; enough for lights, deck lids, etc. but not enough to fire up the car.

Jenk:

If you're car is GT Silver, we have twins.

I'm taking mine to a local mechanic this Thursday to see if he can figure it out; if not, it will be 100 miles to the delaership.
