Default Horn Tooting about RR products...

"I love these ramps... I use them for all of my cars and they work great. Makes doing the oil change a breeze and they are super easy to drive up on. Not like the other ramps I have owned.

I have no association with Race Ramps. Just love them!

phil"

"Buy these ramps!!!
These are great. I wish I had bought mine under the GP price now available. Regardless, we bought 2 pairs - one for the garage and 1 for the trailer. They are TERRIFIC. Also, if you have a lowered car and trailer to the track, you should try the Race Ramps Trailer Ramps. We use the TR-5s to extend the ramps on the Featherlite trailer and several of our friends bought them now too. Can't be beat!"

"Got my ramps. They are an excellent piece of workmanship! Was slightly worried about sliding but as soon as the car started up the ramp they glued themselves to the floor. Thanks Again!!!!!!!"

"I wish I would have seen these before I created my own. I needed something to pick the car up 2" so I could swing the lift arms under it.
I'll call mine Crap-Jax."

Which ramp model are you using to clear the GT3 spoiler? Is an extender needed? Thanks.

Both the 56" & 67" have an approach angle of about 10.75 degrees. The 67" XT's have a 10" platform giving 2 extra inches to move about.

Use this test to determine rampability

The yardstick should be placed at on the inside edge of tire where it meets the pavement.

With the extenders, the height at the end of the yard stick needs to be 4.5" minimum.

Thank you,

Brute

The height at the end of the yard stick for a 997gt3 would be approx 3.75" if you left the front lip on (it only takes 2 minutes to get it off) in which case it would be close. You are going to need wood for sure.

Thanks for sharing the evaluation. We are in the business of finding solutions so any more info you can provide (yardstick height) the next time you have the front lip off would be great.

Another of our answers to lumber:

This gets it up initially for your jack, then you set the front or the rear on the cribs.

Yep, these work great. I have used them for a year or more. I wish I made commission on these babies because I have sent a lot of people to race ramps.com. I do need to use some wood to get the car up but it is no big deal. They are so light and durable - well worth it. I accidentally backed my trailer over one of my ramps. It is showing a little damage but no big deal.
