Default 7 GT3RS Euro CF Seats

Can you guys help me with the current price for CF seats? I have the Euro CF seats that were in every picture of the RS. I am getting ready to sell them but have heard a huge variation in prices. I will price them to move quickly but need to know a more accurate idea of the prices.

PM me if you are interested in make an offer. Thanks.

What did you pay? What kind of condition are they in? It's pretty easy.

if you want an accurate price, call Sunset Porsche in Oregon and then take 10-20% off ( OR MORE, depending on how fast you want to sell them) that being that they are not NEW and go from there.

Price has come down dramatically in recent months... a while back, they were $15k to $20k (!!), now Suncoast (Fla.) has them complete for ~$10k, and a New York dealer had one (1) seat (leather or cloth) without inserts or rails for $2.9k on Ebay...they quoted me $3733 complete (including inserts and rails).

My seats haveonly been sat in about 20 times. They are pretty much brand new. They are cloth...just like the ones that came on the RS in Europe.

I will sell them for $7000 for the pair, obo. This includes all of the mounting hardware, etc.

Had a great conversation with Lumpking today. It looks like the seats are gone. I will confirm Thursday. Congrats Lumpking. By the way, hats off to him...not only did he arrange the purchase while in Bahrain but he is active duty Navy. Thanks to him, we are all safe and able to enjoy our cars while he has to miss Parade with his new seats in his RS. Cheers.

Thanks Richard for the great deal on those seats. I can't wait see them in the car. I'm guessing that 26hrs or so in the plane and the next day I'll be in Charlotte, seats in that night. Just out of curiosity, I will be selling my original seats, how much should I ask?

Mooty, What kind of cover is that on your RS. I will be moving to Pensacola Fl in Sept and I'm not sure what type of material will be best suited in that environment.

I might be interested in your original seats.

What color/condition are they in? Heated, manual or electric?

Thanks in advance,

Berry

Barry,
I don't think that power was an extra option for these seats nor heating. The backrest is power but that's it. The seats are standard black 997 RS and are in perfect condition. They have 3700 miles on them! Is it OK to use this thread to sell my seats without being a member? Still don't know what a fair price is for these.

the cover is lycra-like on the outside and cotton flannel inside
this is for INDOOR use only.

Greg,

This forum is such a great resource. You could definitely sell your seats, but you would gain a great deal for the small membership fee. I am not sure if any of these guys have a day job, because they are always on the forum : ) But they know an incredible amount about our cars. So...join as a member, sell your seats, and enjoy a lifetime of great knowledge on RL.

Congrats again on the seats. Safe travels.

RB
