Default 997 GT2 fantasy car idea

heres my idea, someone makes a run of 997 turbos converted to GT2, remove the nose and tail replace w/GT2 parts, change manifolds and do the electronic mods remove roof sound insulation, remove sunroof roof panel and replace w/Carbon roof, remove the front wheel drive and sell it for 165k, somoene like a RUF or one of the racing teams with a strong reputation could do it and voila" no more greasy practices like 100k over, or waiting forever to get a car, sell the removed parts as prepainted repair parts and the others as spares...I dunno would it work?

Guess what, I had a 996TT with no sunroof, full RWD conversion and you name it. It feels TOTALLY DIFFERENT then my GT2, and why I had to sell it, it still felt soft and boring, 997TT would be the same way.

LOL that's the first thing I change out on any car, I had the H+R comp coilovers, and just way too much in the car to list.

Bottom line is, the car's were just night and day, due to tons and tons of things that just aren't visible/mentioned (solid mounts, no sound deadening, etc)

what I'm thinking is along the lines of how a Holbert racing built 962 is real just like a factory 962, and I don't have any problem with Porsches pricing on the car , I'm just saying there might be alternatives to getting gouged by the dealer network, I do believe that all the differences other than the sunroof can be duplicated, but am unsure about the cost

Are you kidding me?
How about the abundant of used GT3's and RS' for sale at about $20,000 to $50,000 above the MSRP?

Don't be a extreme liberal by hating the "market forces". If you want to be annoyed, annoy at those who are buying at those prices.

Hint: Guess where the US$ are at the moment and just guess where these exotic goods will go to!
