Default Vibration Noise in driver's side door and seat belt clip

This vibration noise is RPM dependant. The frequency changes based on RPMs.

I can hear it in the door, etc. It might also be in the passenger door. But I'm too far away to tell.

I'm concerned that this is an issue with my motor or more likely the clutch assembly.

I think a motor with an imballance of this magnitude would have already blownn up after 5,000 miles.

My guess is that it is the clutch.

Any ideas?

Can you feel the vibration through the seat? If it's just resonance vibrations in interior trim, that's normal. If you can actually feel an imbalance through the controls and the seat, that may indicate something more serious.

If it is an actual mechanical problem, it's likely to be relatively minor like a loose exhaust or maybe clutch if it's been abused. I can't imagine how the engine itself can be out of balance unless one or more cylinders is misfiring.

Something in the B pillar buzzes in my 07 GT3. Probably 3-4 places make buzzing or rattling sounds thoughout the interior. Results of very limited sound deadening material to save weight.

As was mentioned, if something is out of balance in the motor you should feel it in theentire car and you'll be getting a new motor for free.

Mine does the same. Passenger door latch & seat belt. I'm not too concern it annoying but i deal w/ it. I think there's a thread regarding the door latch issue. Do a search. If you come up w/ a solution, please post.

My car has the same vibration noise on the driver's side door, I heard the noise on the drive home from the dealership and ever since. If I push against the panel, the vibration stops. I doubt it is caused by the motor or clutch in my car.

Welcome to the club !
Seems like they all do it to some degree
As others stated, if it is just a resonance, it's normal

It must be a factory installed feature that comes free of charge.

I had a rattle in drivers side door panel. Turned out to be the airbag. Dealer fixed it in 20 minutes.

I had a rattle/vibration in the driver's door panel isolated to the storage lid - I just kept the lid open to avoid the noise

I'll try that tonight.

By the way, I'm using your front bumper guards on my Turbo Cab. Thanks.

I was just about to post a thread on the same thing! At 3K RPM the vibration is the most constant. But it's not always there. Seems mostly to be there when it's cold. Quite annoying, actually.

You are right between 3k and 3.5k is where most of the noises come out. Dealer fixed the vibration in the passenger door, loose airbag bracket or some such thing. now I hear a new one on the passenger side below the rear window. Of course you can also just keep it above 4k and everythng is fine.
