I think it was set up a little for the cameras - you only have to look at how the Stig drives around the outside of Sabine at one point to realise he should really have been a lot further ahead by the end.

The only problem I have with Top Gear is that it is 95% entertainment, 5% information.

Given my medical background, it's like watching Grey's Anatomy to learn how to be a Neurosurgeon.

It really seems like the stig let her pass him quite a few times to make it look like a good race.
