Don youre right this is an off topic topic But I enjoy my buddies here. The intellect, wit and temperment is perfect here. I dont have worry about posting something alittle off color and having some 24 year old who bought a 924, is in his 6th year of community college, and thinks he is just as smart and wise as my 997 GT3 guys are. If I go to far off scale here, then I get put back in my place by a well meaning and thoughtful post. I dont mind that at all. But the OT forum is just too acerbic for me. I have to think too hard (then I need a nap) to have to call out the absolute inane stupidity of some of the replies there. Then in 2 pages you have a all out flame war. I can go to the Suby board for that.
And for that I thank all of you guys for being here and engaging in intellectual banter about cars, sports and life in general!
And especially CJ for keeping me in line!!

Are these the kinda of threads that "dude" is complaining about on that thread?
Because I think that "Old Guy" is great behind the keyboard, and that maybe he should quit his day job
Aloha.

Dawg,
I am trying- I have started working for Porsche Marketing Letter Magazine. The pay is not so hot
($0.00 per article) but I get to write about some great guys, like GMG, Sharkwerks, and some other great companies. One day maybe I can to it full time.

Only other car that got this much hatred on GT3 board was C6 Z06 and that speaks volumes. funny GTR was explicitly targeted towards turbo, not GT3.
I will hold my judgment until I actually get to drive one.

GM got mad at Motor Trend for calling the GT-R a Corvette killer.
MT found the Porsche President and the LA Autoshow looking at the GT-R and asked him if he is upset that the GT-R is faster than the 911 TT. He just smiled and said
NOPE! We like competition!!

I've got to hand it to Cadillac for the new CTS, in general. The car is really leaps and bounds ahead of it's predecessor.
For those that want to complain about interior fit and finish in American cars really needs to spend some time inside the new CTS, as they've really stepped up their game. From what I've read about the New V it certainly sounds promising, it'll be interesting to see how the car is in final execution.
