Very nice! Hard to say if these roads are made for our Porsche GTs or if it is for these roads that Porsche builds them! I am so jealous, wish I was driving my GT3 at home on the twisties in Corsica, not the straight highways of Dubai...

I know others have asked, but I havet seen the answer-

How do you like the new seats compared to the normal 911 seats?

Thanks and congrats on your beast

Great write up and top colour combo - thanks for sharing

Just a comment on the aerodynamic stuff below. The GT2 has higher drag than the 997tt so maybe you CAN feel those horses
997GT2 aero is the best yet from Porsche, Sport Auto tested at 200kph ond got 9kg downforce front and 29kg at the rear - awesome balance.....

Did -Engine feels more responsive.
-Distinct sound when turbos spool down, not something I heard in the 997 tt.
-Uses less petrol… probably due to aerodynamics above all else. .

in your opinion, do you think the differences between the tt and the GT2 justifies the price difference? Thanks for sharing by the way!!!! She's a beauty.

Also does the buckle dig into as you get in, I was sat in a GT3 recently and found the buckle ackward and dug into my hips when sitting into the seats.
Go for full leather, that make a big different, personally I don't like the feeling of the nomex and the roll cage doesn't look any good to me. And just want to add, the sound package plus is much better than the standard one too. That's a good package in between the heavy Boss system and the standard one. I also hope the new bucket seats feel more comfortable than the CGT seats.

To the poster, any comments about those new seats?

The new seats are really great. Very comfortable. the buckle does not bother me AT ALL. I am 6"3, but slim, so I don't know if it will be comfortable for everyone. The position is great, after a 4 hour drive I was ready to drive back again. I would highly recommend them.

tb 993tt, tt more aerodynamic.. I would not have thought... but it makes sense with greater down force. that is very interesting.. I guess I can feel the extra power then!

mr 997. Is price difference between 997 tt and gt2 justified?

Yes and No.

No because I am acutely aware how much Porsche is scamming me. How can the carrera 4s be more expensive than the 2s but the gt2 be more expensive than the tt? I am paying more for less. I am very frustrated that Porsche is making more money from me than anyone else (that is what I imagine).

HOWEVER I prefer the GT2 by a long long way. It is faster and handles better, which is what I was looking for. I was willing to pay for that. There was no price with which I was going to be happy with a 997tt. It was not the type of car I wanted. The exact inverse will apply to many people, in fact probably most people... that is why more 997tts will be sold.

gt3 - gt2 price comparison... that is the part that I find much much more difficult to justify to myself though.

Have you tried the old bucket seats (CGT seats)?
I have found those old bucket seats are not comfortable.

And I love to hear that the new buckets seats are very comfortable, but just want to know how was it compared with the old one.
